What is freeze-dried food?
Freeze-drying is a process that uses low temperatures to ‘dry’ the meat and lock in all of the goodness! You’re left with a tasty meat treat that is as close to the original raw meat source as possible. Watch a short video of the process here.
Why feed freeze-dried food to your cat?
Our freeze-dried cat food is ‘complete and balanced’, which means it has the optimal balance of ingredients that your cat needs for their daily nutrition. Real New Zealand meat and organs make up over 90% of our freeze-dried cat food, and the rest is an essential mix of vitamins, minerals, oils, yeast and natural antioxidants.
We only use New Zealand meat and seafood.
That’s our promise! New Zealand’s lands and oceans produce some of the best food sources in the world, so it makes sense that we use local lamb, beef, chicken and fish.

Jenny Digby –
We first tried NRG+ a few months ago and our cats absolutely love it! We give them a variety of food (wet, dry and freeze dried) and this is hands down their favourite. The bag goes further than you think, they also enjoy it sprinkled on top of their wet food.
